Privacy policy
LogScope analyzes your logs in your browser. This page describes what the current website does with the files and text you choose.
Effective October 21, 2026
Files and pasted log text
When you select a log file or paste text, the analyzer reads it on your device in a browser worker. The website does not send the log contents to an analysis server or store them in a LogScope account. The current tool keeps the analysis in browser memory for the session; refreshing or leaving the page clears that in-memory analysis.
Log lines can contain IP addresses, URLs, query parameters, and other personal or sensitive information. The tool masks common secret-like URL parameters in displayed lines, but it cannot recognize every custom field or sensitive value. Review anything you choose to share.
Reports and downloads
PDF, text, and CSV files are generated in your browser when you request a download. They are saved to the location chosen by your browser. LogScope does not receive a copy. A report or CSV can still contain sensitive log details, so check it before sending it to someone else.
Ordinary website visits
Your browser requests the static website files from the hosting provider. Like other websites, the host may process technical request details such as IP address, user agent, and requested page to deliver the site and protect its service. The exact retention period depends on the hosting setup used when the site is deployed.
The current application does not set analytics cookies, use an advertising tracker, or provide user accounts. If those features are added, this policy will be updated before they are used.
External links
Guides link to documentation on third-party websites. If you follow those links, their privacy practices apply. No external documentation is fetched when you analyze a log.
Your control
You can remove a selected file before analyzing, start a new analysis, close the page, or delete downloaded reports from your device. Since the current tool does not receive log contents, it has no server-side log upload to delete. If you need help interpreting a log, share only the information necessary and remove secrets first.
